3 Smokin’ Summertime BBQ Tips

Tip #1- For perfect smoked ribs and chicken wings rub the meats on all sides in your fav dry spice rub. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and place the wings in a gallon ziplock bag and refrigerate overnight to give the flavors the opportunity to penetrate.

Tip #2- Smoke the ribs for about four hours total and the wings for about an hour and a half total. Wrap the ribs in foil for the last hour of cooking time for the ribs. If you’d like, baste on BBQ sauce at this time and return to smoker to finish. The wings will crisp better if you wait until after cooking to toss in your favorite sauce.

Tip #3- You don’t need an elaborate smoker system for great results. This smoker from Amazon will do nicely.
